Here are the conventions of a table of contents page:
- At the top of the page you have the name of the magazine, the issue date, and the word "Content" or the words "Table of Contents".
- There is also a editors piece sometimes or the editors contact information but these items are not always placed in the magazine.
- An image that is used on the front cover but just smaller.
- The Contents is organized into sub sections and is in order by page number.
- The article names have sublines to give the reader an idea of what each article talks about.
